Who Should Attend?
We strongly encourage attendance from the member representative, director, or dean of HathiTrust members, but their appointed delegates may attend. Although the member meeting may not feature voting, it is important that attendees be either the voting representative or have the authority delegated to them.
This year's meeting will be dynamic and discussion-driven, with a focus on several important issues that stem from HathiTrust's new Strategic Directions, including:
- Changes to HathiTrust’s membership criteria
- HathiTrust's 2019 budget and adjusted fee model (HathiTrust will provide advance materials for this topic and the bullet above.)
- Strategic direction alignment with member goals
- Areas of potential collaborative work
- Highlights presented by member representatives
We also plan to include lightning talks from members, highlighting use cases and accomplishments that would not have been possible without HathiTrust, and that could be replicated by other members. A limited number of spaces will be available to accommodate additional attendees who are presenting lightning talks.
